About Neighbour

Kia ora! I’m Jacqui — a self-taught photographer from Aotearoa NZ. I’m passionate about people and the Earth, and creating engaging, candid imagery.

My photography style is fuelled by wide open spaces, natural light, and adventure. I like to use a mix of digital photography and camcorder videography to create unique and authentic images. And, I create my best work in and around nature.

Outside of photography, I love to write, camp, and travel — learning as much as I can as I go. I’m an avid environmentalist and am passionate about the flourishing of our common home.

So, what’s in a name?

Our Neighbour is every living thing — everyone, including the earth we tread.

As humans, we are called to a deep love for one another; caring without expectation and giving without reason. We don’t need permission to share our passions or an excuse be generous with our support for others. We are simply free to be.

We are also responsible for loving our common home and non-human neighbours who share it.

By simply existing, you are a part of the story. Thank you for being here.
